After speaking to a few people this morning who asked for H.E.C.M. information; it has become evident that the meaning of NEED is unclear.
After all, we have Medicare (or any medical insurance) but feel just find today. Does that that mean we do not need it? Of course the number one reason for a H.E.C.M. is as a financial planning tool preserving and/or increasing what we have. Needs should be looked at as "being prepared" for what may happen. Saying you have no need is like saying you have no need to be prepared.
